On Exmoor's doorstep, we have beautiful scenery whether you love to walk or find the sea hard to resist

Blue Anchor is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside and sea.

Being situated in the Bristol Channel alongside the South West Coast Path which starts in Minehead, Somerset to Poole, Dorset totalling an enormous 630 miles!

We are located 50 metres from the West Somerset Steam Railway, the longest Heritage Railway in England, which runs steam and diesel trains along the 20-mile track, taking in views of the coast and Quantock Hills. If that sounds too energetic you can sit and relax in our beautiful garden or hot tub and watch the steam trains chug by.

Along the route, the Victorian town of Lynton and Lynmouth and its funicular cliff railway and Valley of the Rocks, the beautiful seaside village of Combe Martin and on to Ilfracombe which is home to the Damien Hurst statue called Verity.
